This woman, being full of initiative, was a pioneer in the sphere of storing photos on the net. A long time ago, however difficult it might be to imagine, the only way to share a photo with somebody was to send it by email. It was very inconvenient, let alone the problem of storing photos in the long run. In 2004 Caterina solved this problem by founding Flickr, where people could store their photos. It is still popular nowadays.
Caterina was born in Pennsylvania, got a degree in not in math, but in English. After that she changed her career and started to create websites. Her clients are big corporations. After Yahoo! bought her creation, Caterina worked for the company. Not long ago her site Hunch was bought at a record price of almost 100 million dollars!
