Parents should encourage children to develop different life skills. Everybody knows that studying by doing something is much more productive.
Children are curious by nature and like exploring everything. They like discoveries, like assembling things, exploring them, smelling them, touching them and asking what they are used for.
Programming is much easier than you think. It is extremely easy for children to understand and after a brief introduction, they develop basic skills. These skills help kids interact with technology around them, not be passive users of them. By doing this, they become more self-confident. When they become more confident, they start studying programming in-depth and try to learn more and more.
