- Compare them with their friends. Competition can be a source of motivation. However, if you always compare your child with other kids, it will demotivate them and will not interest them in studies.
- Make them study too much. Studying at school should not be the most important thing. Leave time for their hobbies, communicating with friends.
- Become personal. However disappointing your kid’s behavior may be, don’t insult them. Words can be very offensive, and one phrase can be remembered and negatively influence their whole life.
