Who invented the automobile?

Carl Friedrich Michael Benz is the inventor of the automobile. He patented the main parts of the automobile.

He was born in a poor family but he was able to get a scholarship and graduate from the university at the age of 19. After working at different enterprises for 7 years, he started his own company. Actually, it was just a workshop.

The first automobile was patented in 1886. It was the beginning of the history of the automobile industry. His invention had an internal combustion engine.

In 1926, the company Benz merged with Daimler which also produced automobiles. All models were given different names and began to be called “Mercedes-Benz”.

In 1926 cars with a diesel engine began to be produced. The first automobile with the diesel engine was Mercedes-Benz 260 D.
