3 steps to help your child be more organized

  • Timetable. When a kid has a timetable, they know what to expect and can plan their activities. Have a timetable at home and include not only the school timetable but also any additional activities. Kids can start by planning one day and proceed to planning a whole week. The timetable helps them remember what they need to do after school.
  • Everyday routine. It may seem that children do not like to follow rules. In fact, it gives them a feeling of stability and order. They know what is expected from them and can plan their activities.
  • Believe in your kid’s potential. Children are capable of doing much more than we expect. So, it’s important for parents to support them and keep them motivated. Praise them and try to find a way out if something goes wrong.
