Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage one’s own emotions: cope with aggression, accept defeat, show care and tenderness, etc. It is important to adequately assess the emotions and feelings of other people, predict their reaction to certain words, actions and make decisions based on these predictions.
These skills develop throughout life, however, in childhood, it is worth getting the necessary minimum, which will become a reliable foundation in the future. To develop a child’s emotional intelligence:

  • Read books together with kids, watch movies and analyse psychological portraits of characters;
  • Try to pay more attention to the emotional sphere: give your child feedback on their feelings and motives, sort out conflict situations with peers and teachers, etc.
