Adele Goldberg’s destiny appeared to be predetermined, as her parents were both involved in the field of engineering science. It didn’t take long for Adele to develop a keen interest in the subject herself. After obtaining a degree in information science, she embarked on her professional journey at XEROX, where she quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the head of the laboratory. Adele emerged as the most promising specialist within the company and went on to create Smalltalk, an unknown programming language at the time.
Throughout her career, she participated in various projects and pioneered concepts that formed the foundation for visually-oriented user interfaces. Presently, Adele is the proud owner of her own company, Neometron, and actively contributes to various charity programs and educational initiatives.
