Flexible thinking for teenagers

Difficulties often confuse teenagers. It seems to the child that he will not succeed – it’s not even worth trying. Because of this, the mood deteriorates, academic performance decreases, relationships at school and at home worsen.

But they can manage it. The key is to replace the fixed mindset (“I can never do it”) with the growth mindset (“Let’s try”).

The fixed mindset says that all of our qualities and states — shyness, sadness, loneliness — are almost unchanged. A growth mindset states that everything can be changed, especially if you make an effort, try new strategies and find those who will support you.

Anybody can learn anything, even if it seems incredible. It’s only necessary to practice to succeed.
