According to a survey, 43% of kids in primary school have a profile on social networks. This number for secondary school students is much higher and is about 95%.
The biggest part of students has admitted that they have received invitations to become friends from people they don’t know, 34% of whom receive these invitations from adults. One-third have met those who they have made friends with on the internet.
Kids need to be very careful as these unwanted friends try to do anything to become friends with them. You never know who can be there on the other end of the screen.
