Cyberbullying takes place all the time and continues even at night time. Bullies, who are often adults, never leave you alone.
About 33% of kids admitted they have faced cyberbullying. The consequences of this can be stress, becoming introverted, reduced self-esteem and even depression. What is worse is that kids often don’t tell their parents about their virtual friends and the problems they cause as very few parents said they know about the problem of cyberbullying.
If you learn that your kid has been cyberbullied, explain to them that it is not their fault and teach them basic rules of behaving on the internet.
