There are several signs that will help to recognize this character trait. Independence from the opinions of others is one of those.

Independence can be brought up if you instill in children faith in their own strengths, teach them to take care of themselves, suggest ways to find something to their liking. Good parents give sons and daughters the opportunity to experience life and learn important lessons from it. An independent child is:
