Psychologists have come to a common opinion that the age between 12 and 16 is the peak age of developing memory. Teenagers begin to analyze information better and make their own conclusions. However, at this age, children are not much interested in studying.
Here are some tips on how to improve memory:
- Any intellectual activity develops intellect. Help your child to find an activity interesting for him. It may be studying foreign languages, learning to play a musical instrument, etc.
- Provide proper nutrition. Brain needs certain minerals and vitamins. Make sure teenagers eat healthily.
- Do mental exercises, e.g. remembering words, finding differences, etc.
- A balance of work and rest. Don’t put too much pressure on children on very busy days. Let them have a good rest.
