Why study robotics?

The term “robotics” was first introduced in 1942 by science fiction writer Isaac Asimov in his short story Liar!. Today, robotics is a branch of science and engineering focused on designing, building, improving and using robots and automated systems. Robotics is applied in many fields, from manufacturing to healthcare, space exploration and more.

It’s no secret that children of all ages enjoy creating new things. Enrolling them in robotics classes provides an excellent opportunity to introduce them to the fundamentals of technology, which they can build on in the future. In these classes, children are taught the basics of programming and are shown how to assemble innovative and exciting mechanisms by hand. Robotics offers numerous benefits for kids, including:

  • Fostering creativity and imagination
  • Enhancing physical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Encouraging teamwork and collaboration

By learning robotics, children not only gain valuable technical knowledge but also develop essential life skills that will benefit them in many areas.
