Do you always know what is best for your child?

It may be hard to admit, but sometimes it’s not easy to figure out what’s really in your child’s best interests. Partly because you don’t know what your child wants to be – he just has to figure it out, ideally with your help. In addition, often what seems like a disaster turns out to be a happy event.

As parents, we often make decisions for our children that seem perfectly reasonable to us, such as enrolling them in football instead of the drama club and then feeling bad about what has been done. The same happens in our own lives. Most of us work too hard, eat too much, sleep too little and our careers don’t go as planned. So, sometimes you just don’t know what’s best.
