- Support your child
Let your kid know that they are dear and important to you.
- Call emotions by their names
Emotion is even very good. Bring more awareness and understanding, help your kid understand where this or that emotion came from and what to do with it now.
- Try to teach them to pause between emotions and actions
- Be calm and try to be in harmony with yourself
Do not shout, do not transfer your “bad” emotions to the child. Tell them about your emotional state and what caused it. Say what you’re going to do with it.
- Help and talk
Talk about yourself and about cases from the life of other people, listen to your child and try to hear what is important to them.
