How to raise kids’ self-esteem

  • Showing love for children, despite their not always good behaviour, is mandatory in everyday life. We give them confidence that they are accepted, loved and will always be supported.
  • Praise kids and be precise. If we say all the time: “You are the best”, “You are great”, then it can be very painful for a child and difficult to face reality in which he is not always the first. Therefore, we always specify: “You dance very beautifully!”, “You drew three even circles and picked up the colors so well!”
  • Learn to find good in everything. Teach them to look for strengths in others – guests, friends, brothers and sisters. We don’t compare – we learn to see something beautiful.
  • Help your child recognize their strengths. Every time he does something good or makes small achievements say about that.
