Managing your time and being realistic when prioritising

No matter how good you are at prioritising, you can only get very little done in one day, and some distractions are impossible to avoid. It is important to be realistic in setting goals and prioritising. Otherwise, you can disappoint others and have a constant feeling of lagging behind.

Remember that the purpose of prioritisation is to spend time working on important tasks, i.e. those that will matter in the long run and lead you in the right direction. With the correct prioritisation, you will feel that you are acting more purposefully and thoughtfully. The goal is to get the job done with a clear result, and not pay attention to less important things.
