Many people use the terms “AI” and “robots” as if they mean the same thing, but they’re actually quite different.
Artificial intelligence refers to software that can learn, analyse information and make decisions. Robots, on the other hand, are physical machines designed to perform tasks in the real world. A robot may use AI to become smarter, but it doesn’t always need it to function. AI can also exist without a robot, such as in apps, search engines or online systems.
Understanding the difference helps us better understand how modern technology really works.
