- Teach the importance of attention span. At a very young age it is possible to teach kids to focus attention on a certain task or idea for a short period of time. Later, when they grow older, they can learn to focus on tasks longer. Help them concentrate by excluding distracting factors such as TV, music or other things.
- Encourage skills of logical thinking. Logical thinking is difficult to develop as it mostly depends on the maturity of a kid. However, you can help if you let them think about what will happen in this or that situation and why.
- Ask complex questions. By asking questions with “why” and “how”, you encourage your kid to think logically rather than just asking “yes/no” questions.
