Accepting failures
However strange it may sound but the first step to success is a failure. Nobody is perfect and cannot be perfect. Try, fail and try again. Try to focus not on the result but on the lessons learned; those who learn a lesson will eventually achieve success.
Every failure makes you closer to your goal, however, only if you learn from it. But we really fail only if we do not continue achieving our goals after it. So, if you fail, try to learn a lesson from it as soon as possible and move on.
